In general parlance, an exponent is the small superscript that carries a big punch (BASE^EXPONENT). It represents the power of multiplication. The higher the exponent, the larger the impact. Open Exponents are reusable building blocks that, when reassembled, can solve a completely new problem in a completely new context and at a low cost and higher speed than building a new solution from scratch.
Like LEGO blocks, Exponents can be used to make a house, a truck or even a railroad!
